其實 Google 這次 Logo 的調整只是把字母中第二個 “g” 往右移動了一個像素，同時字母 "l" 往下移動了一個像素，從下面的 GIF 圖中就可以看出分別：
在經過報道後，Google 官方也向媒體證實了這次改變，而其目的則是爲了讓 Google Logo 在不同的屏幕分辨率下都能顯示得更清晰銳利。
